What hiking activities do you offer?
The resort has multiple trails with routes of varying length and difficulty so that visitors can enjoy pleasant walks through nature. Hiking on mountain trails, trekking, family hiking, observation hiking (fauna and flora).
What types of agricultural activities are available?
Río Piedra has a plant nursery, as well as a small farm with animals where you will learn very interesting things about the rural world and the natural and traditional lifestyle. Among the available activities are: sowing, harvesting and seed production.
Does the hotel provide the necessary equipment for the activities?
Walking activities do not require specific equipment. It is advisable to wear comfortable clothing, such as sports or hiking clothing (visitors must bring their own equipment). The hotel provides the material for agricultural activities, as well as life jackets for boat rides.
What are the accommodation options?
There are several accommodation options. We have 6 double rooms available to our clients, as well as 2 exclusive 2-story cabins with capacity for multiple visitors.
What services are included in the stay?
Our visitors will be able to enjoy a natural environment, carry out agricultural activities, taste fruits according to the season of the year, in addition to all the comforts of any modern hotel such as: swimming pool, Wi-Fi, hot water, TV, etc.
Are there restrictions on activities?
In general, the activities organized at Río Piedra Farm promote a healthy and natural lifestyle. For this reason, the entry of alcohol into the facilities is prohibited. In addition, visitors must follow the internal rules of the complex, always taking care of decorum and respect for other visitors and resort workers.
What is the climate like in the region?
Panama is characterized by having a humid and tropical climate. Depending on the region, we can find areas with more moderate temperatures, but, in general, the average temperature ranges around 27ºC - 28ºC. There are two well-defined climatic seasons: the dry and the rainy. The dry season runs from mid-December to April; and the rainy season, from May to mid-December.
Are there additional entertainment options or activities?
In addition to farming, hiking and boating activities, visitors can enjoy horseback riding and vegan food culinary courses.
What is the price of activities and accommodation?
Prices vary depending on the season in which the reservation is made. For more information, you can contact us through any of the channels we make available to you.
How can I make a reservation at Rio Piedra Farm?
You can make your reservation through any of the communication channels that we have made available to you: directly on this website, by email to reserva@riopiedrafarm.com, by calling or writing a WhatsApp to the phone number (+507) 6674 -6633.
Can I modify or cancel my reservation?
Modifications to your reservation, such as changes in dates or the number of guests, must be requested 3 days in advance and will be subject to availability. Changes may imply adjustments to the cost of the reservation. For cancellations, please see the "cancellations" section of the FAQ or the "booking policies" page.
What is the check-in time?
Arrival time is from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If your arrival time is different, please contact us in advance to arrange delivery of the keys.
What is the check out time?
Check out time is 4:00 PM. Late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
Where can I check the rates and payment methods?
The rates can be consulted directly on this website. You can also contact us by phone, at (+507) 6674-6633, or by email (info@riopiedrafarm.com). All prices are subject to change without prior notice, so we recommend that you contact us if you have any questions or queries.
What payment methods do you accept?
To make the payment, you can choose to: make the payment online through your bank (making a deposit or transfer), pay by using a debit or credit card, or also in cash at the time of registration at the hotel (in those cases where applicable).
Is it necessary to make a deposit?
A deposit of 30% of the total value of your reservation may be required. The amount of the deposit and the conditions for its refund will be specified at the time of booking.
Is it safe to pay online at your website?
It is certainly safe to pay online on our website. We use proven service providers and security systems to make your purchase safe. In addition, we work directly with entities and banks of recognized prestige, both nationally and internationally.
What type of currency is accepted?
All payments must be made in American dollars (USD). For purchases from abroad, your entity or bank may charge you an additional fee to carry out the currency exchange.
Do the prices include taxes?
NO, the prices shown to me on the website do not include taxes, fees, supplements or additional services that may be applied to visitors.
Can I cancel my reservation?
If you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so 5 days in advance to receive a full refund. Cancellations made 3 days in advance will be subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of the total cost.
What happens if the hotel cancels my reservation?
Should we need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you a relocation to an alternative date or a full refund.
